A profile of Isabella Dalla Ragione, who's field is archeologia arborea, and is tracking down fruit that once graced the Renaissance tables of the Medici. Keeping an orchard was a principle of scientific humanism - nature and technology. Each house had a pomari, an orchard of about 10 trees.
